Effectively identifying AI hazards and developing targeted risk mitigation strategies are essential for both businesses and regulators to enable AI adoption at scale. For businesses, clear understanding and control of AI systems are key to maximising returns on investment while avoiding incidents and penalties. For regulators, a strong grasp of the AI risk landscape and the ability to provide guidance on risk mitigation best practices are crucial to fostering innovation and trust in AI while protecting consumers and society from potential harm.

This hands-on workshop brings together UK regulators, innovators, and industry organisations to share actionable best practices in developing effective governance strategies for AI adoption. Focusing on two critical components of AI governance – risk identification and mitigation – participants will actively assess risks connected to real-world AI use cases and develop targeted risk mitigation plans.

Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, regulators, businesses, and industry organisations will collaborate, exchange expertise, and build a shared understanding of key considerations for successful AI adoption.

Due to limited capacity for this in-person-only workshop, submission for attendance does not guarantee a spot. If your seat is confirmed, you will receive an email with full event details and attendance instructions, including the exact address of our central London venue.
