From the TTF event website:

This year’s Transport Technology Forum Annual Conference will hear about technology solutions that are being used now by local authorities to solve their road transport challenges.

The annual event brings together central government, local authorities and the supply chain. It will detail the latest about digital Traffic Regulation Orders, the National Parking Platform, data sharing and the next phase in the £70 million of extra funding for traffic signals, including new schemes making use of machine learning and artificial intelligence to optimise traffic flow and balance traffic across city centres.

There will also be a chance to hear from the TTF’s Working Groups, case studies of real-world implementations from local authorities alongside their suppliers, and extensive networking opportunities alongside a bigger-than-ever exhibition.

Last year’s event saw 250 people attend, including more than 120 from over 60 local councils and combined authorities. As in previous years, public sector representatives will receive fully-funded places.

This is a great opportunity to network with buyers and suppliers in the transport sector including challenges and procurement opportunities. E.g., learn more about DfT's £20m Intelligent Traffic Management Fund (ITMF) that aims to support around 10 pilots across the UK to use AI to help optimise traffic signals.

The TTF Manual for Smart Streets is another very valuable resource that provides practical guidance on how to capitalise on the use of data and technology as part of the management, operation and maintenance of streets and highways via 11 use cases.
