Building the Trustable AI Bill of Materials (TAIBOM)

This virtual session introduces the Trustable AI Bill of Materials (TAIBOM), a new framework for describing, documenting, and managing AI systems across their full lifecycle and supply chain. TAIBOM provides a rigorous, versioned, and auditable “bill of materials” for AI, covering software, data, models, dependencies, inferencing systems, and licensing, with the aim of improving transparency, accountability, and security.

The session brings together stakeholders from industry, standards bodies, policy, and the wider AI ecosystem to explore how TAIBOM works in practice, why it is increasingly critical for trustworthy AI deployment, and how it aligns with emerging UK and international AI governance and standardisation efforts
