    • What standards training might you be interested in?

      Training is one of the key pillars of the BridgeAI Standards Community.  The Community aims to support you on your journey to AI by helping you build your understanding of using standards to ensure your journey to AI adoption is grounded in best practice. 
      As part of the BridgeAI programme, we’re teaming up with BSI Assurance Services to explore further training opportunities on a number of key international AI standards. With some of these standards being cited for consideration in key regulations such as the EU AI Act and the UK’s regulatory approach to AI, training in these areas will help your business more closely align with the future regulatory landscape.

    • Building Trust in AI and Enhancing Digital Rights

    • Mobilise - Funding and support to help businesses be investment and market-ready

      Mobilise is a structured early-stage accelerator programme that supports ambitious micro, small and medium-size enterprises, start-ups or university spinouts, that are developing innovative automotive-related early-stage, zero-emission or Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) technologies, products, services or solutions to accelerate the transition to a safer, smarter, more sustainable future.

    • Offer: lower-priced access to standards for start-ups and micro-businesses in the UK

      Standards are essential for building a strong foundation for both AI adoption and general business success, as they help you to build trust with your customers and suppliers. To help smaller start-ups and micro-businesses access the standards they need, BSI is trialling a new subscription offer. 
      As part of the subscription, organizations can get unlimited, view-only access to BSI's collection of more than 90,000 standards in the BSI Knowledge library. This collection includes all of the BS, BS EN, BS ISO/IEC and BS PAS standards, among which are many of the foundational standards essential for businesses aiming to develop and/or adopt AI solutions: 
      ISO/IEC 27001 - Information security management systems;  ISO/IEC 42001 - the world's first AI management system (AIMS) framework;  the six-part BS ISO/IEC 5259 series on Data quality for analytics and machine learning, and  BS ISO/IEC 38507, which helps ensure the safe, effective, and acceptable use of AI within organizations.  This subscription is exclusively available for microbusinesses or start-ups with fewer than 10 employees and less than £632,000 annual turnover. 
      Prices for the subscription depend on organizational size, and start from £360 / year (plus VAT).

    • Are you a responsible AI mentor?

      BridgeAI partners Digital Catapult are in search of AI mentors to support the next cohort of their High Growth AI Accelerator.
      Volunteer mentors provide guidance and support to early stage innovators to navigate AI risks across diverse industries. You'll provide expert guidance, offer strategic insight, and help to ensure that AI solutions are ethical, responsible, and resilient. 
      Digital Catapult welcomes professionals with experience in: 
      AI risk frameworks, including ethics, privacy, security and regulatory compliance; Managing technology and data risks within organizations;  AI technologies, such as machine learning (ML), computer vision, generative AI and automation;  Inclusive product design; Technical AI risk management (such as capability assessments and validation assurance.  This list is by no means exhaustive; if you have experience in managing AI risk, AI governance, or another related field, your application would be most welcome. 
      If you're interested in supporting the next generation of AI-driven innovation, are keen to share your experience and grow your network, and want to play a key role in shaping responsible AI adoption, this may be the opportunity for you.

    • Improve digital trust with free expert consultancy from BSI

      To better help SMEs in the priority sectors identified in Innovate UK’s BridgeAI programme develop and adopt AI, BSI is offering an exclusive, tailored consultancy service in AI management and information security (InfoSec).  
      SMEs who are selected will receive three days of practical support from expert consultants, helping them to adopt key standards for AI management and information security, as well as offering tailored advice to their specific business challenges and opportunities. 
      What can digital consultancy help me with? 
      Digital consultancy will help you develop a clearer understanding of your AI landscape, along with actionable guidance on using international standards to confidently adopt or develop AI with confidence. 
      BSI’s industry experts will help you: 
      Evaluate your current business practices with a high-level gap analysis  Address gaps through practical, tailored recommendations, and;  Chart a roadmap to achieve improvements.  The advice you receive during the consultancy will help accelerate progress in adopting key standards, including the two essential AI foundational standards of ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27001.  
      Eligibility
      This consultancy opportunity is exclusively available for SMEs developing or adopting AI within the agriculture, creative, transport, and construction sectors, and which are looking to adopt ISO 42001 or ISO 27001. 
      The offer is only for organisations that have not been certified on the ISO 42001 and ISO 27001 standards by BSI.
      Once you register your interest, you’ll receive a questionnaire. This will help the consultants to identify and assess the challenges and opportunities.

    • Funding competition - Growth Catalyst Early Stage: New Innovators

      Just putting this out to the BridgeAI community as relevant for companies developing AI technologies at a very early stage. You'll get a small amount of grant funding + business support to start your venture. 
      UK registered micro and small businesses can apply for a share of up to £10 million to develop affordable, adoptable and investable innovations in the five critical technologies including AI.
      Artificial intelligence
      Projects will be supported that:
      Develop novel AI tools, technologies or services across the AI stack Delivering clear, game-changing interventions that will contribute towards the development of trusted and responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Leaning (ML) solutions Your project must:
      have total project costs and grant funding request of between £25,000 and £50,000 have total project costs that equal your grant funding request start by 1 November 2025 end by 30 April 2026 last between three and six months carry out its project work in the UK intend to exploit the project outcomes from the UK for domestic or global benefit Competition opens: Monday 7 July 2025
